While implemented in the kernel, this call is not supported by any file system yet. Use the rename call instead.

Syntax

#include <unistd.h>

Parameters

Return Value

The return value is null if successful. Otherwise, the return value is negative and errno is set:

  • ENOTSUP

    Not supported.

  • ENOSYS

    The system call is not supported for this file system, or not implemented.

Remarks
