Interface for system operations.
Description
The /dev/sys
character device is an interface for general system operations,
predating the /kfs
file system. Newer functionality should use files in
/kfs
instead.
/dev/sys
is used by the sys
program when retrieving the current kernel
version, requesting a reboot, or enabling/disabling printing of load
addresses.
